Nanotoll is a per-call context compression service for LLM agents. You send text to POST /v1/compress, choose a squeeze mode, and get back compressed output plus a signed receipt that discloses exactly what the transform did.
Everything on this site describes the shipped surface only: the three squeeze modes (deterministic, extractive, verified), the receipt contract, and the account surface you need to register, fund, and monitor your calls.
Start here:
- Getting started - register, fund, first call, read the receipt. The only page a new customer needs.
- Concepts - the mode ladder, determinism, and the receipt contract.
- API reference - request and response shapes, account endpoints, errors, and the signing key distribution.
- Receipts - field-by-field semantics, end-to-end verification, pipeline stages, measured latency.
- Guides - worked use cases with honest limits.
