The shipped API surface:

• POST /v1/compress - the business endpoint: compress text, get output plus a signed receipt.
• Account endpoints - register, balance, payment history.
• Errors - status codes, the 402 body, timeout tiers.
• Key distribution - the public signing key and its DNS-published fingerprint.

Authentication on all billing endpoints is a Bearer token; see authentication.
